The 2012 annual AFP Conference held at the Miami Beach Convention Center from October 14-17, 2012, saw US Dataworks (News - Alert) demonstrating the simple benefits of its cloud payment processing solution.

At the conference, the company featured a “Cloud Expert Lounge” and Ken Segall, an author and advertising executive who worked for NeXT and Apple, was present as a guest speaker.

Segall is said to have worked closely with Steve Jobs (News - Alert) for over a decade and reportedly started the i-frenzy by naming the “iMac” – and initiated Apple’s Think different campaign.

At the conference, Segall, who wrote the book, Insanely Simple: The Obsession that Drives Apple’s (News - Alert) Success, spoke at a breakfast seminar detailing some of the success stories of the world’s most valuable publicly traded company.

Leilani Doyle, vice president for US Dataworks commented, “Life is sweet in the cloud. With all the pressure to improve customer service while lowering operating costs, US Dataworks embraces the principals of Think Simple in our Clearingworks’ Cloud Payment solution to solve even the most complex payment challenges.”

The company explained that the objective of hosting the Cloud Payment Lounge was to provide an opportunity for treasury professionals to debate, discuss and review cloud payment processing solutions. It also revealed its unique cloud payment processing model’s ability to lower operating costs and improve scalability.

US Dataworks claimed that more than $7 billion each day is processed using the Clearingworks Ecosystem, and the simplicity behind the core system of the cloud payment processing solutions and the apps supposedly extend the solution to make it fit every client’s specific needs.

Users can seamlessly achieve the custom payment options they want at a cloud solution price.

Recently, US Dataworks announced the addition of Marc Palombo as senior vice president of sales and entered into an agreement with Rackspace Hosting.
