Solix, Inc. recently won a five-year contract renewal to continue to offer services for an eastern state's Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) program.
The state's TRS program was formed to offer telephone communication between hearing or speech-impaired persons using a Text Telephone (TTY) or a Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD), and parties using a standard telephone.
As per the new agreement, Solix will calculate the required annual assessment rate for program funding, collect funds from contributors, generate managerial and oversight reports, and also process payments to the TRS service provider.
Officials at Solix said their superior quality service and support has earned appreciation from the state's Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and TRS telecommunications provider – recognition that has helped in earning the new contract.
The company has previously served public benefit programs of national and state agencies, and helped these organisations enhance their efficiency and performance while reducing waste, fraud and abuse.
Solix’s QPO suite of services claims to offer expertise and end-to-end technology and process management required to determine an applicant's eligibility for participation in a program.
This suite includes Complex Program Administration, including business processes, program management and business intelligence reporting; Eligibility Determination Outsourcing, including application processing and data management; and Customer Communication Management, including outreach, interactive voice response (IVR) and inbound/outbound interactions.
To date, many telecommunications, healthcare and insurance companies have picked Solix to help manage programs with intricate rules-based criteria that are often subject to extensive regulatory guidelines, eligibility requirements and compliance reviews.
Solix, Inc. is a privately-held company with a long history of providing high-value services to its customers and the community through the management of repeatable processes enabled by made-for-purpose technologies.
