Global information services company Experian this week released TrueTrace, the latest product in the company's debt collection product suite. The aim with TrueTrace is to provide best-in-class skip-tracing capabilities across industries, enhancing debt recovery efforts with its unique combination of skip tracing, consumer credit and alternative data – including select data sources.

Indeed, the product is capable of accessing not only Experian's address and phone number files from its core consumer credit database of 220 million consumers and 140 million households, but also from the company's marketing database of more than 250 million consumers.

TrueTrace also offers access to 100 million wireless phone numbers and additional contact data.

“This new product is a vital resource in debt recovery and provides our clients with the tools they need to locate past-due customers more quickly and easily,” said Trevor Carone, vice president of portfolio and collections solutions at Experian. “Experian is continually investing in our capabilities to help our clients operate their businesses more efficiently and effectively. With increasing margin pressures in the market, TrueTrace was designed to access the most up-to-date, comprehensive and accurate contact data to streamline skip-tracing efforts.”

TrueTrace also features seamless linkage by way of FirstSweep, which offers comprehensive debt collection filtering, allowing clients to designate accounts which require special handling and attention – bankruptcy, deceased, litigious consumer scrubbing.

Flexible file formatting also allows TrueTrace to conform to a number of system requirements and streamlined search options.

Recently, Experian implemented Compuware Corporation’s Compuware (News - Alert) APM dynaTrace as its solution for application performance management. Compuware dynaTrace allows Experian to reduce time to market and improve the quality of new applications and services by quickly finding performance issues during the early stages of development.

Experian Marketing Services has also appointed industry leader Peter DeNunzio as general manager for Experian CheetahMail. As such, DeNunzio has assumed responsibility across all CheetahMail offices in the United States.
