Uni-Data and Avalara to Deliver Sales Tax and Compliance Automation Services in the Cloud

Uni-Data Communications a provider of cloud technology to small and medium-sized businesses has joined hands with Avalara to offer sales tax and compliance automation services in the cloud.

Avalara’s service-based compliance platform for sales tax automation works within a company’s own financial, billing, e-commerce, or point of sale system. This delivers transactional tax compliance services for all types of businesses.

The companies will launch a SMB software portal that will enable Uni-Data’s Skyline cloud services division to deliver software titles for rental and immediate provisioning covering business PCs enabling quick mission-critical decisions.

Skyline Cloud Services was created by Uni-Data with a mandate to support the evolving needs of small business with turnkey, immediate and scalable cloud-based software solutions that integrate the latest technology innovations with exceptional back-end infrastructure and support.

Customers using Quickbooks on Uni-Data’s hosting services can also use AvaTax, Avalara’s cloud-based solution now and can automatically calculate sales taxes accruing with each invoice. This capability is expected to help customers skip complex tasks of calculating taxes across multiple jurisdictions and instead focus on their core competencies, said officials.

Recently Results Software, developers of Results CRM solution announced a partnership with Skyline Cloud Services by Uni-Data. Under the new partnership, Skyline will be offering Results Software’s Results CRM, project, business suite and results mobile solutions as hybrid hosted offering as well as a results mobile SaaS (News - Alert) option, using the CloudPaging technology.
