Ingram Micro (News - Alert) Mobility, an Ingram Micro business unit delivering supply chain, distribution and recovery solutions to device manufacturers, network operators and retailers, and iQmetrix (News - Alert), a provider of integrated point-of-sale (POS), retail management and interactive retail solutions, recently announced a new agreement that will enable the latter company to provide its customers with real-time POS and inventory visibility. Ingram Micro Mobility will be integrated into iQmetrix’s RQ Retail Management solution, which helps retailers streamline and organize core operations to serve their customers with the best, most efficient service possible.

RQ includes a long list of features to ensure an optimal customer experience, including:
- A centralized customer database
- After care tools such as callbacks and the RQ Marketing Module
- Payment processing tools
- Suggestive selling and product linking
- Integration with XQ Interactive Retail for intuitive product displays
- The Phone (News - Alert) Activation Wizard for enhancing and simplifying transactions.
Furthermore, retailers have access to a set of comprehensive reports as well as tools for monitoring and analysis. iQmetrix provides a range of configurable software packages in order to serve the particular needs of each individual business.
“Ingram Micro Mobility's vast product and accessory portfolio makes this relationship ideal for our comprehensive RQ solution,” said Christopher Krywulak, President and CEO of iQmetrix. “But beyond the products themselves, Ingram Micro Mobility brings a wealth of technology and retail-industry experience to our partner ecosystem. The possibilities for our companies are endless.”
The integration of Ingram Micro Mobility will be included in the launch of version 4.19 of RQ, with an intelligent automated inventory system that directly links RQ processes and information to the supplier. Mobile device retailers already benefitting from iQmetrix’s robust management features will thus have access to all additional tools that Ingram Micro Mobility has to offer.
“iQmetrix is an important part of the North American mobility industry, as partners and customers use iQmetrix and its technologies on a daily basis,” said Bashar Nejdawi, Executive Vice President of Ingram Micro and President of Ingram Micro Mobility North America. “We see the successful impact iQmetrix's key technologies make in the mobility industry. We're hopeful that working together will benefit our mutual customers.”
The list of capabilities illustrates how a holistic approach to automated business processing enables companies to not only have better visibility into all aspects of their operations but also is vital to improving things like accounts receivable management times from invoicing to cash, logistics, a host of planning issues and improvement of the customer experience as well.
