Dimdim Joins Intuit Partner Platform

Open source Web meeting company Dimdim has joined the Intuit Partner Platform. As a member of this program, Dimdim will provide Intuit (News - Alert) small- and medium-sized business customers with powerful Web conferencing solution that needs no software to be downloaded or maintained.

Dimdim’s Web conferencing technology enables effective, easily implemented virtual meetings. These kinds of meetings have become very popular amongst businesses who want to cut spending and increase efficiency. This membership means that Intuit will now be able to offer Dimdim’s comprehensive Web conferencing solution to around 25 million employees in small businesses that use QuickBooks.

Steve Chazin, Dimdim’s chief marketing officer explained that the integration of their solution into the Intuit Partner Platform will enable Intuit’s small business customers to conduct live meetings, demos and Webinars using just their Web browser.

According to Chazin, around three million people are already using Dimdim and all QuickBooks users can now save money and travel expenses with this solution. They can also perform other tasks such as show their documents and desktops, collaborate on a whiteboard, chat, and communicate using Dimdim’s built in webcam, VoIP and phone conferencing.
