Silent Communication, a provider of Device and Network Agnostic (DANA) mobile client solutions, announced that its Visual Voicemail mobile client (Silent VVM) is now available for the Brew MP mobile operating system.
The mobile client now enables network operators to roll out Silent VVM to any Brew MP-based device in their portfolio, with seamless support for any network voicemail.
With Silent VVM’s support for Brew MP, mobile operators are empowered to conquer mobile fragmentation with revenue-driving applications and services that run on any mobile device and any mobile operating system, company officials said.
The mobile client already offers support for popular mobile operating systems including Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Java, Windows Mobile, iPhone (News - Alert).
Silent VVM utilizes Silent Communication’s serverless DANA deployment technology. It enables users to browse voice messages visually, listen to messages with one click, and respond to voice messages via call back, SMS, MMS and/or e-mail via a single, easy to use interface.
Back in December, the company announced enhancements to Silent VVM with new voice-to-text -presentation capabilities, enabling mobile device users with even greater flexibility to manage their voicemail via a single easy-to-use, on-screen interface.
“Mobile operators have struggled to provide full-featured Visual Voicemail service to subscribers that use Brew MP-based devices, and this deficiency has compromised the operators’ ability to extend this high-value service across their full device portfolios,” said Silent Communication (News - Alert) CEO Max Bluvband, in a statement.
The support for Brew MP provides mobile operators with greater flexibility to provide subscribers with innovative mobile services like Silent VVM that ensure the best possible user experience regardless of device or operating system, Bluvband added.
Silent VVM solutions are pre-integrated with all voicemail vendors, including Comverse (News - Alert), Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson, Acision, Unisys (News
- Alert), ZTE and Streamwide, the company said. It can be deployed by any mobile operator with Silent Communication’s industry-unique DANA deployment technology.
