ACE*COMM Corporation, a global provider of advanced operations support systems (OSS), value-added services, and network business intelligence solutions, announced that it has secured a major contract to provide Convergent Mediation and Data Collection supply project to a tier one telecommunication provider in the Southeast Asian region.

 

ACE*COMM’s Convergent Mediation is a service delivery platform (SDP) launched by the company in 2004, and was scheduled for delivery during the first quarter of 2005.

 

This SDP allows operators and service providers to deliver new mobile and data services to their subscribers, quickly, competitively and with minimal incremental cost.

 

Based on ACE*COMM's N*VISION2 (NV2) advanced OSS platform, this solution has evolved dramatically to meet the demands of carrier’s mediation and collection environments.

 

Some of the key tasks of this core application are to perform collecting, correlating, and transforming disparate data into information that operators use for billing, revenue management, and support for other OSS applications.

 

The telecom provider who has signed for this project operates a 100 percent fiber optics network, complemented by extensive fixed line, broadband, payphone and Internet service networks.
