SuitePrint Enhances Business Software Provider NetSuite's Support for Label Printing, Shipping, and Fulfillment

Today, Plum Development Group announced in a press release, the launching of SuitePrint—the first of its series of tools that will work to extend the power and functionality of NetSuite's (News - Alert) cloud ERP and financial software suite.

NetSuite is the industry's first and only Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) business software that can support a company in its entirety—from accounting/enterprise resource planning (ERP) to customer relationship management (CRM) and Web capabilities—in a single, integrated and powerful business management software solution.

Some of NetSuite’s greatest benefits are the ability to offer better business management services, eliminate IT maintenance and upgrade costs, eliminate data re-entry, make better decisions faster, and increase collaboration.

SuitePrint was designed with the intentions to enhance label printing, shipping, and fulfillment for NetSuite, by offering real time monitoring, canceling and reprinting of batches of labels.

According to a release, SuitePrint enables label printing with multiple printers and multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS (News - Alert)) from a only one workstation. SuitePrint supports all common EPL thermal label printers including Zebra Technologies printers supporting manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations. Different custom settings have the ability to adapt to each specific carrier's label, even if multiple carriers are all printing to the same printer.

SuitePrint provides native support for USB, parallel—and network printers on XP, Vista and Windows 7. There are no complicated batch scripts to install, and there is no need to use printer sharing for a USB printer as up to three printers can be configured at the same time, the release announced.

SuitePrint provides real-time monitoring of the amount of labels that have been processed and how many are still in the printer queue, as well as enabling operators to cancel printing at any time, or reprint a batch of labels; in case of a paper jam or misfeed.
