Officials with NETtime Solutions said that iPad has one huge advantage where NETtime is concerned because of the solution's performance on the iPad is outstanding.
Some comprehensive tests were conducted by NETtime Solutions and the iPad passed with flying colors on all tests, according to officials.
The tests measured the speed of commonly used NETtime functions including downloading PDF reports sent from the system to email. The results of the tests show that iPad performed almost as well as Internet browsers, such as Firefox and Google (News - Alert) Chrome, running on a 2.6 GHz MacBook Pro using OS X 10.6.3 and Windows XP.
Today, businesses need a mobile workforce that can move between departments, and thus it makes sense to have a mobile computing platform. The iPad can be given to the employees for use on the go and enterprises can use NETtime for the device.
"We're excited about Apple (News - Alert) bringing out the iPad," said Bahan Sadegh, CEO and founder of NETtime Solutions. "It provides us with yet another delivery platform for our product and provides businesses with the flexibility to take care of time and attendance issues without being tied to a particular operating system or location."
