International Postal Corporation Deploys Axway Business-to-Business Integration Solution

The Phoenix, Arizona-based business interaction networks company Axway has announced that International Postal Corporation or “IPC (News - Alert),” an association of 24 postal operators, has successfully migrated from Axway’s legacy product AMTrix to the Axway Business-to-Business integration or “B2Bi” solution.

Axway B2Bi solution is based on Synchrony platform. IPC, which handles over 80 percent of all mail delivered in the world, expects the implementation to monitor and upgrade the quality of their electronic data interchange or “EDI” services, while providing a seamless customer experience to end users.

AMTrix system had worked well for years. The change is made to meet the increase in EDI transactions, company officials said.

Offering an updated architecture with a more flexible, modern and business-oriented approach Axway B2Bi solution eases operational processes of IPC. The solution enables IPC to process a tremendous volume of EDI information. It successfully receives, translates, verifies and integrates information into a central database.

Axway's offerings include business-to-business integration, managed file transfer, secure email, business activity monitoring, enterprise application integration, service-oriented architecture, business process management, track & trace and identity validation solutions.

Lionel Gilmont, EDI infrastructure manager at IPC, said, “Axway seemed to be the vendor most capable of taking on a critical application migration project.” Gilmont added IPC is confident that it really made the right choice to migrate to Axway.

The Axway B2Bi solution provides IPC with the essential building blocks required to establish secure dynamic connections both inside and outside the enterprise. The platform includes a powerful set of open services, such as secure communication, community management, transformation, end-to-end visibility and integration. The services provide a secure, reliable foundation for efficiently connecting applications, employees, customers, partners, and regulatory bodies across countries and time zones.

Axway is the only provider in the market today to manage, run, secure, and monitor all of business interactions, including e-mail, files, messaging, services, events, and processes. Eliminating the barriers between vendors, customers, departments, partners and suppliers, Axway facilitates the multi-enterprise transactions, processes and integration that accelerate business, company officials said.

In February Axway announced the creation of a strategic global identity Security initiative to address identity security and Public Key Infrastructure or “PKI” requirements of governments and enterprises, TMCnet reported.
