First Investment Research App from World Gold Council hits 500+ downloads in first month
(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) London (PRWEB UK) 10 December 2012
worldflow, a leading provider of software and consultancy services to the financial services market, today announced that its most recent App, entitled ‘Research: Market leading research on gold uses as an investment asset’, which was developed with the World Gold Council, has experienced strong uptake in the market – with over 500 downloads in the first month.
The App, which has been designed for both iPad and iPhone usage, focuses on the investment drivers for gold as an asset class and offers expert opinion and analysis from both in-house researchers and specialist contributors. It is the first Investment Research App from the World Gold Council and is free to professional and private investors. Gold price charts, the daily gold PM Fix and weight conversions are just some of its key features, as well as information on gold prices and statistics, country case studies and gold investment guides.
Steve Jarrett, Director of worldflow says, “With the recent increase in the usage of mobile devices, accessing investment research on-the-go has become the norm in the market – and the early success of this App is testament to that. This highly tailored App development has provided the World Gold Council with another distribution channel for its research. Great features and functionality have enabled them to provide additional benefits to their existing client base as well as sign up new readers.”
Marcus Grubb, Managing Director, Investment at the World Gold Council says, “This App was developed to provide essential information to investors that is easily accessible wherever they may be doing business. We are delighted to have achieved over 500 globally-dispersed users within the first month and we are closely monitoring how the App is used. We will continue to develop the functionality and content to best serve a global readership interested in gold’s investment attributes and performance.”
The free App is available to download from Apple iTunes here.
