BRIEF: LaGrange hitchhiker pulls gun on driver, still at large

A LaGrange man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon by a hitchhiker on Mooty Bridge Road, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.
The man told police that at about 1 p.m. he gave a ride to a hitchhiker on the 900 block of Mooty Bridge Road. After the hitchhiker told the man to pull into Valley Ridge Apartments, he pulled out a handgun and demanded money. He then fled on foot. The press release did not mention what items were stolen during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-11-inches black man with a medium build, wearing camouflage pants, a black shirt and a black knit cap.
