Looking to make the process of video creation easy and enjoyable, ArcSoft (News - Alert) has announced availability of ShowBiz 5 video editing software for Windows.
ShowBiz 5 is available at a price of $79.99.
By simply using drag-and-drop to add media onto a storyboard in the order they should play, ShowBiz 5 was designed from the ground up to be easy for consumers to create quickly and easily a movie with digital photos and video clips captured from a variety of SD and HD sources, the company stated in a press release.
“ShowBiz 5 represents a complete redesign of the application," said Bill Chen, General Manager of ArcSoft's Digital Multimedia Services and Solutions Group. "While we have added a tremendous amount of new technology into ShowBiz 5, we've not lost sight that consumers expect technology to be 'under the hood' and instead the application should focus on helping users create amazing movies and share them quickly and easily in the desired format.”
ShowBiz 5 provides advanced technology features including stereoscopic 3D support, up-scaling of SD video to near HD quality with SimHD, video stabilization, Blu-ray Disc burning, and much more. While more advanced capabilities, including a robust timeline, chapter and marker settings, and video, photo and audio editing, are available if users desire more power and flexibility, the new user interface of ShowBiz 5 is intuitive and easy to understand for new users.
