Totus Solutions, which manufactures and markets intelligent, LED streetlight-based security platforms for security grids, chose ASIS 2011 to launch a new line of Guardian Security Platforms that help state, government agencies and others to protect their critical infrastructure.
According to the company, these security platforms are highly reliable and integrated and enable deployment of IP video surveillance and sensor systems to monitor pedestrian and vehicular traffic activity in public places.
“The advanced capabilities of the Guardian Security Platforms exemplify Totus’ commitment to providing customers with platforms for their Security Grids that are intelligent, reliable, and have an architecture that enables the integration of best of breed security components,” said Glenn Norem, executive chairman of Totus Solutions, Inc., in a press release.
Video surveillance has gone high tech for Totus' Guardian Security Platforms offer customers security grid solutions that include IP video cameras and even a network video recorder complete with multi-day storage. Secure wireless communications and superior photometrics also augur for improved surveillance.
Going a little beyond video surveillance, the security grid solutions also enable the reporting of sensor data and alarm conditions to the Command and Control Centers and real time access to First Responders dispatched for event response.
In related news, Quantum (News - Alert) Secure, Inc., the exclusive provider of enterprise software to manage and streamline security identities, compliance and events across disparate physical security systems, reported another record year at ASIS 2011, highlighted by record revenues, new product enhancements, another year of profitable growth and a host of new customer additions.
