Invodo a full-service video partner for businesses is collaborating with Akamai (News
- Alert) Technologies, Inc. a provider of cloud optimization services.
Invodo’s full-service eCommerce video solution helps create high-quality product videos at scale and develops new technology to influence consumers. Invodo videos increase sales conversion rates, reduces returns and drives site traffic for customers including Internet 500 retailers and major brands.
It was recently revealed that the Invodo scalable video production and video platform technology will be synergized with the Akamai Intelligent Platform for Invodo customers such as AutoZone, Crocs, Lenovo (News - Alert), L’Occitane, The Sports Authority and Office Depot.
Craig Wax, CEO of Invodo said in a release, “We create and deliver high quality video at scale to increase business for our customers. The content delivery network is a crucial part of that process. Since Akamai is already serving many of our current and prospective clients on a global basis, it's a natural fit to integrate the Akamai Intelligent Platform and site acceleration services into our video platform technology.”
Invodo solutions enable businesses to develop by leveraging the power of video. It offers a full-service business video solution and combines the creation of high-quality video at scale with its proprietary video platform technology. This can influence consumers online, through mobile devices, and at other consumer touch points. The Invodo solution is used widely by major retailers, brands and service companies, said officials.
According to Akamai sources, the business video solution delivers between 15-30 percent of all Web traffic for retailers and other companies. The Akamai Intelligent Platform enables retailers and companies to leverage their online presence to optimize performance, as well as offer instant scalability and security across its globally-distributed platform of servers.
Ravi Maira, Akamai’s vice president of site performance products said, “Our eCommerce clients have been asking for an integrated eCommerce video solution that includes production as well as hosting, streaming and analytics. By working with Invodo, our goal is that our joint eCommerce customers will benefit from our combined offerings by providing their audiences a truly integrated eCommerce video experience.”
Recently, Invodo announced the addition of more high-profile clients, becoming the de facto leader in online video for business. The company has also introduced an InPlayer rating system feature to help gather feedback from consumers and gain insight on how to further optimize video for its clients.
