Expert Global Solutions Taps Industry Veteran to Lead its Operations in the Philippines

Expert Global Solutions, the holding company of NCO Financial Systems, and APAC Customer Services announced the appointment of Rainerio Borja to lead the company’s operations in the Philippines.

NCO is a global provider of business process outsourcing services, including accounts receivable management, revenue cycle management and order to cash BPO services.

APAC specializes in customer care BPO services and solutions including sales, customer care, technical support, and back-office services.

An industry veteran with over 25 years of industry experience in the areas of customer service, IT support and consultation, Borja served some of the biggest companies in the APAC region.

Borja has already assumed his new role. As the new president of EGS, Borja will manage all aspects of operations in the Philippines. The new position gives him the opportunity to play a key leadership role in the local community, with clients and for employees. He will be based in Manila.


Prior to joining EGS, Borja served as president of Aegis People Support, where he was responsible for the strategic and corporate development programs.

Prior to Aegis People Support, Mr. Borja held senior leadership positions at Epicor, Danka and Unisys (News - Alert) Australia.

Borja is better known as the founder of the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P), the umbrella organization of BPO, contact center and IT-enabled services companies in the country. He remained the chairman of the organization for five years. He is on the board of the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) and a member of the US-Asean Business Council and the Makati Business Development Council (MBDC).

“With over 12,000 colleagues located in eight sites and serving a variety of clients on both the servicing and collections sides of the business, our operations in the Philippines continue to be an area of strength for our company. I'm very pleased and proud that we were able to attract someone of Bong's caliber to lead and develop our team in the Philippines,” Expert Global Solutions COO and EVP, Jack Jones noted in a statement.

Last month, APAC Customer Services announced that it will be adding approximately 300 jobs in its Phoenix, Arizona, location. The expansion is for support of a key business segment for a leading technology client.
