OneAccess (News - Alert) stated that it is going to market a fully-integrated access solution based on its sophisticated router platforms, applying Actelis’ EFMplus and Dynamic Rate Boost (DRB) technologies. The company hopes to enable carriers to bring down costs associated with installing EFM business services.
OneAccess will also co-market Actelis’ (News - Alert) product line of best-in-class Ethernet access devices and aggregation switches.
OneAccess’s product design process is led by telcos to enable cost-effective service delivery and differentiation. The company also possesses the agility to modify solutions that meet users’ specific needs.
With ‘Cisco (News - Alert)-like’ CLI, a broad product range and common network integrations, OneAccess products are designed to enable users to introduce and upgrade services with minimal operational impact.
Actelis asserted that its EFMplus technology is a powerful combination of several patented techniques, which enhance standard Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) and turn ordinary copper pairs into fiber-quality, high-speed Ethernet links.
The Dynamic Rate Boost (DRB) provides carriers and enterprises with the greatest Rate, Reach and ROI by delivering superior broadband capacity and network efficiency in the access networks.
“Service providers are calling for lower total cost of ownership,” said Bertrand Meis (News - Alert), CEO at OneAccess Networks. “We believe that an end-to-end, integrated solution that combines Actelis' broadband access solutions uniquely positions OneAccess to embed intelligence into sophisticated customer premises-based routers that will provide a cost-effective broadband service delivery platform for business-class, managed and cloud-based services.”
Actelis added that its innovations, along with those of OneAccess, breach broadband limits while extending the rate and reach of EFM business services to almost every location regardless of geography. The new integrated solution is capable of helping carriers to meet customer demand cost effectively and immediately.
In related news, OneAccess introduced AirBooster for Android business users, and OneAccess Networks and CTD entered into a distribution agreement.
