DTI (News - Alert), a private independent provider of e-discovery, managed document review and facilities management services, recently partnered with Wipro Technologies (News - Alert), a provider of information technology, consulting and outsourcing, to provide mission-critical services to clients on a global basis.

As per the terms of the agreement, both companies have joined forces to offer electronic discovery, managed document review, contract drafting and intellectual property/compliance support services to clients. Wipro has signed an agreement to offer legal services via DTI's Atlanta Knowledge Center and two data centers in Seattle and Atlanta. On the other hand, DTI also plans to offer an alternative solution to clients through secure resources in Manila, the Philippines and India.

"This alliance adds an important new dimension to our platform," said Christopher Aronson, president of DTI's Knowledge Solutions business unit, in a statement. "Our clients have been asking for more cost-effective options for certain functions and applications. We selected Wipro as our partner due to their extraordinary resources, experience and our shared commitment to clients and service excellence."

Meanwhile, Wipro Infotech recently announced that it has won a three- year strategic managed services contract from Emirates NBD to deliver end to end service transition and transformational services to maintain their IT systems through a managed service framework. This includes comprehensive help desk and field support services. It will make the processes more streamlined, thereby allowing the bank to offer better services to their end customer. Emirates NBD is a banking group and a market leader across core business lines.
