TMCnet Business Process Outsourcing Week in Review

By Rachel Ramsey, TMCnet Web Editor

In today’s economy, companies are doing everything they can to stay within budget, choosing cost-effective solutions while still providing the best possible services. Business process outsourcing enables organizations to do this by taking on the responsibility for various required tasks that take away from companies focusing on their core business needs and goals. Here are the top stories in the industry this week.

Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc., a healthcare business process outsourcing company specializing in personal healthcare product and services, recently signed a management agreement with Global Medical Direct, a specialist provider of diabetic supplies, diabetic shoes/inserts, insulin pumps and pharmacy medications, Midwest Medical Services and Complete Medical Homecare (GMD) to provide management consulting, including compliance services, new business development and strategic planning.

JPD Financials revealed that its international business reach is continuing its upward growth trend across Europe. A number of new European customers and clients of the company have decided to extend their existing contracts for leveraging JPD's Vendor Credit Recovery Service. Among the new clients who have extended their contract over the use of JPD's Vendor Credit Recovery Service includes British Airways, which has renewed its audit agreement with JPD Financial after its three-year initial contract ended.

Also this week, Bingham McCutchen LLP has selected DTI (News - Alert) to provide a full suite of on-site management services in all its law offices across the United States. As per the terms of the agreement, both companies have joined forces to offer electronic discovery, managed document review, contract drafting and intellectual property/compliance support services to clients.

Test and lab automation software solution provider, QualiSystems (News - Alert), recently revealed that its TestShell Framework currently manages more than five million devices in test labs around the world. The TestShell Framework allows engineers to inventory, control, schedule and provision all network, storage and computing elements within a test lab environment.

ABUKAI is a vendor that uses what it refers to as Actionable Business Productivity. Its goal is to make your life easier based on new business thinking, simpler user interfaces and support by the latest technology. The company now has integrations with Dropbox (News - Alert), Google Apps and LinkedIn for ABUKAI Expenses.

Philipp Schloter, CEO at ABUKAI said, “At ABUKAI, we’re continually exploring new kinds of partnering models that enhance the experience, streamline the process and improve productivity for our customers. We’re delighted to announce these new integrations with Dropbox, Google (News - Alert) Apps and LinkedIn. We are building upon our strategy to partner with expense and accounting software vendors, by providing new partnership opportunities for cloud storage and document archiving vendors, cloud market places, and social networks.”
