Envista Corporation recently announced it will be providing its Enterprise Right-of-way (ROW) Coordination Platform to San Francisco, county-wide. The company's enterprise right-of-way (ROW) coordination solutions will be used within the city and county of San Francisco in managing public activities and events in the right-of-way.

Under the terms of the contract, Envista will be providing its Utility Project Coordination, Street Events and Citizen's View modules to help improve communications and optimize coordination processes in San Francisco.

“The City and County of San Francisco's leaders have always proven to be forward-thinking and we are very pleased to help them improve communication and coordination for utility projects and events,” said Marc Fagan, Envista's executive vice president and cofounder. “By providing multiple stakeholders with simultaneous access to information from virtually anywhere at any time, Envista's cloud-based platform is a powerful way for project managers and event coordinators to save time and money while maximizing public safety and minimizing environmental impact.”

The city and county of San Francisco is completely committed to improving and safeguarding the environment for its citizens. In this respect, by selecting the Envista Utility Project Coordination module, San Francisco will benefit from greater real-time insights into construction and maintenance details, which will make compliance with moratoriums easy while ensuring that there is minimum disruption to public life.

Envista's Municipal Consent module will help optimize application submission processes, as well as document circulation, sign-offs and site inspection processes via the Notice of Intent, which will ensure automatic tracking of workflows, tasks and reviews.

By leveraging the Envista Street Events module, the City and County of San Francisco will be able to better coordinate all municipal-based special events such as parades, road races and festivals.

Envista Street Events has been designed to support the automatic mapping of event locations, and associated impacts including detours, parking restrictions, message signs and traffic officers.

Furthermore, Envista Citizen's View will improve transparency by ensuring that selected information such as construction and maintenance projects, parade routes, detours and road blocks among others is published on the Web for viewing by the public.
