Android app developers, with AirBop are able to have 100 percent control over their push notification integration.
"With AirBop, app developers have the freedom to incorporate any client side approach that they need. Whether they need to push 'tickle notifications' or broadcast a full 4k marketing payload, AirBop can handle it for hundreds of millions of devices," says AirBop president Colin Adams, in a statement. "We manage the user/device registrations and provide the tools needed to push messages down to them - then we get out of the programmer's way."
Officials said that AirBop’s fully managed server stack complete with online messaging tools and device targeting features, benefit Android developers in many possible ways. Designed for reliability and scalability, the stack can adjust instantly for load, has continuous data protection, and can scale to handle billions of Android devices.
All AirBop plans include unlimited push messages and their price ranges from $0.002 to $0.01 per managed user/device depending on features.
Professional features include message scheduling, language, country and state targeting. Some of the advanced features like a REST messaging API and street address radius geo-targeting are also available.
