Cbeyond Announces Availability of TotalCloud Phone System
December 10, 2012
Cbeyond (News - Alert) Inc. (CBEY), the technology ally to small and mid-sized businesses, recently announced that its TotalCloud Phone (News - Alert) System is now available in the U.S.
The solution eliminates the need to buy and maintain an expensive phone system, while reducing the need to hire outside organizations for moves and changes to the system. It communicates effectively with customers and partners through features like Direct Inward Dial, Extension-to-extension Dialing, Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Do Not Disturb and Three-way Calling.
"With TotalCloud Phone System we saw an easy, cost-effective way to get our feet wet with cloud infrastructure. We were able to increase bandwidth and fully support remote workers in Arizona, Colorado and Texas without having to make a significant capital outlay. Truth be told, all we had to pay for was some extra phone sets, and that cost was minimal," said Randall Chance, vice president of information technologies, American Innovations.
With TotalCloud(TM) Phone System, administrators can add or change users and set-up organization-wide capabilities from one location. Additionally, individual users can customize features from anywhere. Moreover, it allows mobile and remote employees to move seamlessly from desk phone to mobile phone with Cbeyond Anywhere. Multi-number enablement routes incoming calls to any designated number.
"Businesses require high-quality phone technology capable of growing with them while delivering low maintenance costs," said Tim Myers, vice president, cloud engineering at Cbeyond. "TotalCloud Phone System provides the right combination of service, support, advanced technologies and cost-efficient deployment to make that happen."
Recently, Cbeyond was named a 2012 Top 20 Business Community Service Award recipient on Dec 3, 2012. This award, sponsored by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Trend magazine, recognizes deserving businesses in Cobb County, Georgia for service to the community through support of non-profit organizations. Two Cobb County based organizations -- kidz2leaders, Inc., which provides personal and professional development opportunities to children with incarcerated parents, and The Center for Family Resources, which provides financial and food assistance, employment, education, and housing services -- nominated Cbeyond for the award.
