As the New Year is gaining steam, it’s time to reconvene and review the latest partnerships and developments in the CaaS community.

Message Bus has announced its collaboration with Joyent in an effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the Message Bus Global Delivery Network. With the help of Joyent’s cloud service, The organization will be able to run its code four times faster than any other provider.

By working together, the companies can create the changes need in the messaging and infrastructure world to produce the best, quickest and safest cloud services yet.

Enghouse has also created some solutions to help enhance the capabilities of its cloud deployment. Its flagship interaction, Contact Center: Enterprise, has been improved to offer its clients the best services by offering three cloud-based options to chose from: private cloud, virtual private and hybrid cloud options.

This will allow customers to only pay for whichever type of cloud service center is needed during that time, and choose the best outlet for their customer service needs.

Focusing on the developments of mobile devices, SYNETY and Aspect announced new cloud-based services for the smartphone community. SYNETY will now offer its CloudCall Click voice services to mobile devices in the form of three free applications, available for both smartphones and tablets.

This nourishes the BYOD (bring your own device) trend by making it even easier for employees operate business related calls from any location.

For social networking users, Aspect’s (News - Alert) new software, Aspect Social, will offer cloud-based services that enable contact centers to automatically identify customer service-related social media and route it to the correct location.

In the wake of increased mobility usage, TalkFree has also announced a new cloud service that will provide high-quality and more affordable telecommunication services with their new Hosted VoIP Platform. This new service will use Web-based voice services to offer VoIP communication solutions to telecom carriers’ customer base for businesses around the world.
