Sigma System first introduced the Sigma Cloud ServiceBroker on November 15, 2012. The solution has been developed to eliminate operational silos and bring down overall CapEx and OpEx by offering a solution that serves to manage all on-network business services such as VoIP and high-speed broadband, and cloud-based XaaS services. Communication service providers leveraging the Cloud ServiceBroker can effectively provide value-added and cost-effective IaaS and SaaS (News - Alert) services to SMB customers quickly.
Tim Spencer, President, and COO of Sigma Systems said that, "Columbus is a regional leader in delivering next-generation IP-based services. With our new cloud service provisioning solution, Columbus can quickly deploy cloud-based services to subscribers, opening a new source of revenue in a competitive market."
Initially customers will be provided with premium business software which includes online and remote backup. Columbus International is one among a group of select service providers in the world who have successfully led the integration of the Cloud ServiceBroker with their Sigma OSS platform.
