Logic Solutions Launches SaaS Version of Showcase

Logic Solutions has unveiled a SaaS (News - Alert) version of its mobile sales system Showcase, which will be available as a monthly subscription for USD 35. This version includes mobile catalog, order-taking and content management.


Bruce Richardson (News - Alert) president of Logic Solutions said, “Our pipeline of requests for mobile projects is now just as large as the interest in web application development. Showcase is the perfect app to help a company no matter the size of its sales force. We expect our mobile development practice, including Showcase, to triple again in 2013, as it did last year.”

The new Showcase Mobile Sales System includes a mobile app for iPad and a Content Management System (CMS) that helps companies display and sell products using a mobile solution.

Also, the SaaS version subscription enables Web access to the CMS, which features an administrator that can manage product and catalog information, sales literature files, imagery like branding of the app, customer data, placed orders information, and user permissions.

The modules included in the app are a company’s product catalog with images, pricing, and comparison tables; a customer contact list and the quote or order entry system that produces both e-mail and pdf versions of a quote or order to be given to the customer.

The sales library feature in the app is a mobile library of sales literature that encompasses pdf documents, PowerPoint and keynote presentations, and videos. The sync feature allows two-way synching with a company’s CMS.

Except for the sales library feature, all other features work in offline mode to enable the completion of a sale without any form of Internet access. The app will save orders locally which can be synched later with the CMS when connectivity is available.

In January 2012, Logic Solutions launched Showcase for enterprises, a solution for sales force automation. The target users of this tablet-based sales system are companies who sell their products through field sales representatives.

Showcase offers a host of services like: interactive product catalog, quote creation, order transaction, inventory access, customer lookup, sales material library, merchandise comparison, cross-sell and up-sell suggestions, geo location facility and two-way (remote user-company database) synchronization.
