Deltapath, HKBN Partnership, to Give a Thrust to UCaaS

Looking to free themselves from the shackles of legacy systems, avoid capital expenditure loss, save on international roaming costs and cater to mobility and BYOD policies, enterprises are now looking to unified communications (UC) in the cloud for reprieve. Deltapath and HKBN have struck a deal to provide them with a full suite of cloud solutions in UC.

Gone are the days when large enterprises and carriers showed off their UC solutions, much to the chagrin of small and medium sized businesses (SMEs). The Deltapath frSIP UC platform with integrated business applications, which has now merged seamlessly with the HKBN broadband network, has leveled the playing field for enterprises, regardless of their size.

The frSIP UC Platform handles video, video messaging, text messaging, and all communication needs from a single application environment. Its performance can be enhanced by adding video conferencing platforms into the UC core.

In order to better leverage existing UC investments, enterprises need to add UCaaS to their options, and the current partnership appears to give them an opportunity to do this. With this UCaaS solution, businesses receive all the benefits of UC, without the pain points of increased spend on premises-based systems.

UCaaS is a delivery model in which a variety of communication and collaboration applications and services are outsourced to a third-party provider and delivered over an IP network, usually the public Internet. The service provider hosts UC "in the cloud", and businesses buy UC according to their needs, thus making it affordable to everyone.
