ClearOne (News - Alert), a company specializing in solutions enabling highly effective voice and visual communications, recently announced a reseller agreement with DSP for Spontania, the company’s videoconferencing and data collaboration solution. DSP provides a wide range of mobile and IP network solutions and sought out this agreement in order to deliver a differentiated and price-disruptive video collaboration service to bolster its other offerings.
The agreement was reached through the ClearOne Connections Partner Program, which offers the company’s products to all kinds of cloud service providers including telecos, hosted VoIP providers, managed service providers, value added resellers and telecom agents.
“We are very pleased to have DSP join us as a strategic partner,” said Kent Terpe, Senior Consultant for the ClearOne Connections Partner Program. “DSP has a solid reputation for delivering UC solutions to their wholesale and SMB customers and now with Spontania in place, they're well positioned to capture new revenue sources, and provide greater value to their growing customer base with an anytime, anywhere, and any device video collaborative service."
ClearOne’s cloud-based videoconferencing and collaboration service will be bundled with DSP’s IP network solutions and marketed under the brand name EraVon (Era of Video On-the-Net). The solution can be deployed in a public or private cloud or on-premises, allowing businesses to deploy fully functional video collaboration functionality without the need for burdensome infrastructure. By deploying ClearOne’s technology within DSP’s own networks the company is able to enjoy high-quality services with an impressive return on investment.
“Spontania strikes the right balance between cost, performance and capabilities,” commented Derek Herman, Director of Marketing for EraVon. “As a one-stop provider for next generation Internet and VoIP telephony solutions, EraVon will be able to offer customized video collaboration services and pricing options combined with rapid deployment and minimal start-up costs, a model which complements our existing hosted PBX (News - Alert)/SIP trunking service, and provide a single billing solution.”
