ConnectSolutions, a provider of cloud-based collaboration services for Skype (News - Alert) for Business, recently announced that one of its executives will participate in several panels at ITEXPO.
Christopher Martini, the company’s vice president of Skype Business, participated in one event yesterday and will make another appearance at a talk tomorrow. ITEXPO (News - Alert), which will take place from Oct. 5-8, first included the talk “ROI with Skype for Business” on Oct. 5 and will highlight its final day with “Key Considerations for a Successful Skype for Business Deployment.”
Concerning both talks, it appears that Martini and others on the panels will address businesses new to Skype – either those in the beginning stages of deployment or those still considering whether or not their return will justify the cost of deployment.
Many changes have taken place in the shift from Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync to the current Skype for Business, and even more changes are expected to take place as, for instance, Skype collaborates with customer relations software such as Salesforce. Therefore, it is understandable that businesses could be hesitant to adopt Skype or even a little confused about how to implement all its features properly.
These talks sit in line with recent ConnectSolutions product releases. Notably, the ConnectSolutions Suite, which launched this summer, addresses the needs of all businesses that want to make the most of their Skype deployments. This set of tools and services gives businesses a direct link to ConnectSolutions representatives who can help businesses stay on the right path.
Its Advise professional service first gives enterprises access to ConnectSolutions teams that can provide advice throughout the entire deployment. Customize professional services help IT with custom setups and integrating Skype with third-party telephony tools. The Visualize dashboard can show IT admins details about communications usage and spending. Finally, Resolve customer success makes sure the business have access to 24/7 technical support for any problems that may arise.
All the issues that Suite addresses are likely part of what Martini will address in his panels. Every company, no matter how big or at what stage of UC deployment, will need support to help them through tough times. The talks at ITEXPO should act as just a teaser for what companies can expect in full from the ConnectSolutions product line.
