Foresight Science & Technology and Skolkovo Technopark Sign MOU

Foresight Science and Technology Incorporated, a global consultancy with operations in metropolitan Boston and San Francisco plus Oxford England, Singapore, and Santiago, Chile signed a Memorandum of Understanding on November 2, 2012 with the Skolkovo Technopark (Moscow, Russia) to provide commercialization services to companies located in Russia's premier tech park. The services to be provided will include market research, licensing, and product sales globally.

Dr. Phyl Speser, Foresight CEO, stated, "Russian science and engineering is creating one of the great untapped pools of technology-based intellectual property and products. Yet much of Russian technology is unknown elsewhere in the world. Our partnership with the Skolkovo Technopark gives us feet on the ground in the leadig nexus of the innovation renaissance occurring in Russia. We are excited about adding this rich pipeline to our licensing and sales portfolio. At the same time, we have a number of customers elsewhere in the world that will benefit from collaborations with, and licenses and sales to, Russian firms and research institutions."

Maxim Kiselev, Chief Development Office for the Technopark added, "We are excited about this partnership. With over 700 member companies in the Skolkovo Project right now and with a total of over 800 likely by the end of the year, the collaboration with Foresight will provide new and important capabilities for expansion of these companies into international tech markets."
