CyberLink Announces Fun, Touch-Optimized Photo & Video Camera App for Windows® 8 - YouCam Mobile

YouCam Mobile is designed to optimize the media creation experience on Windows 8 mobile devices and tablets, providing users with a robust yet fluid and intuitive interface for capturing photos and videos. It also features editing, effects and sharing tools so users can quickly personalize and liven up their media before uploading it to YouTube, Facebook (News - Alert) or Flickr.

Building on the success of CyberLink's top-selling YouCam software for webcam recording and enhancement, YouCam Mobile was developed for touch-enabled portable devices to provide users with a truly comprehensve and seamless camera application for all their Windows 8 systems.

The unique application is the first of its kind to truly enable Windows 8 systems to be used as smart cameras to capture personal photos and videos. Along with useful editing tools, including photo cropping, rotation and video trimming, YouCam Mobile also features a range of particle effects, distortions and animations that can be applied to media in real time. Additionally, enhancements to image quality can be made using CyberLink's unique TrueTheater® technology to dramatically improve the appearance of photos and videos.
