SmarTrend Watching for Potential Rebound in Shares of Teradata After 2.46% Loss

Teradata (NYSE:TDC) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $61.33 to a high of $64.20. Yesterday, the shares fell 2.5%, which took the trading range below the 3-day low of $63.00 on volume of 3.6 million shares. Often times after large one-day declines, short-term traders may play for some degree of mean revision.
SmarTrend recommended that its subscribers protect gains by selling shares of Teradata on September 26th, 2012 by issuing a Downtrend alert when the shares were trading at $73.42.
