ManTech Awarded Contract to Provide Software and Systems Engineering Services to U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command
FAIRFAX, Va. --(Business Wire)--
ManTech International (News - Alert) Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) was awarded a contract
by the Communications-Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command
(CECOM LCMC) to provide comprehensive software and systems engineering
services to CECOM LCMC's Software Engineering Center (SEC (News - Alert)). The
indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple-award contract has a
ceiling value of $7 billion with a two-year base period of performance,
one two-year option, and an additional one-year option.
Under this contract ManTech will provide scientific, systems
engineering, and software engineering technical services to support the
SEC's warfighter, enterprise services, and business mission areas.
ManTech will provide software engineering services in support of several
specific functional areas, including communications, intelligence
fusion, avionics, command and control, business applications, financial
management, fire support, capability maturity model integration,
information assurance, and logistics. The majority of the work will be
performed at Aberdeen (News - Alert) Proving Ground, Md.; however, support may be
required in other facilities throughout the United States and worldwide.
ManTech has significant experience providing the tools and resources
needed to manage complex processes and teams. The company's Agile (News - Alert)
software development processes, CMMI Maturity Level 3 development
rating, rapid prototyping capability, and cyber and information
assurance toolsets are excellent resources to assist the SEC in meeting
their mission requirements.
