Holistic Haven Deer Lake Lodge and Spa Announces Grand Opening in Montgomery, Texas

Deer Lake Lodge and Spa, an exclusive destination health resort and holistic spa, will celebrate its highly anticipated Grand Opening on Saturday, December 8, 2012.

Located on a 50-acre rustic-chic oasis, only 40 minutes from central Houston, the green-construction health haven's ideology is to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit through natural spa treatments, juice-fasting programs, colonics, yoga and spiritual enrichment workshops in a tranquil, private setting surrounded by nature.

When you know better, you do better, and Deer Lake Lodge's goal is for each guest to return home not only feeling cleansed and relaxed, but energized and educated about leading a healthier lifestyle. Guests of the exclusive resort can enjoy amenities such as a fasting lounge, heated saltwater pool, jetted spa, infrared sauna, and scenic countryside walking trails.

"We are excited to introduce a holistic and relaxing environment for people to reenergize and cleanse their bodies and minds. With the spa loated in such a beautiful and natural setting, it was important to me to be as environmentally friendly as possible during construction, and I am thrilled with the end-product," said Tracy Boulware, co-founder of the spa.

Deer Lake Lodge is a lively mix of industrial and traditional, the rustic-chic and the cutting edge. By utilizing shipping containers to construct the main lodge and guest suites, Deer Lake Lodge embraces the green construction movement. Initially, Deer Lake Lodge will offer one program from Thursday through Sunday, allowing no more than 22 guests at a time, ensuring the highest level of care for each guest. The resort will also be available Sunday through Wednesday for private corporate events and seminars.
