Why:
|
|
ACE is a strong supporter of employee volunteerism and giving back
to those communities where its employees live and work. Since
2001, the ACE Charitable Foundation's relationship with PAL has
included supporting its Adopt-A-Center initiative with the help of
ACE employee volunteers. In addition to hosting the holiday party
for Police Memorial, St. Benedict and Locke/Millcreek PAL Centers,
support from the ACE Charitable Foundation allows the Centers to
continue to expand their after-school curriculum, maintain
existing general operations, and carry on their mission of "Cops
Helping Kids." The Centers provide free after-school programs to
kids between the ages of 6-18, many of whom are economically
disadvantaged.
