BRIEF: Police report: Burglar stole Macon children's Christmas gifts [The Macon Telegraph]
(Macon Telegraph (GA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dec. 18--Gifts for children in a Macon family were among items stolen Friday when someone forced their way into a house on West Hickory Drive, according to Macon police.
When a resident returned home about 10:45 p.m., the back door had been kicked in. Several electronic devices, jewelry and the gifts had vanished, according to a police report.
Among the items were wedding rings, children's four-wheelers, televisions, video game consoles and games, children's clothing and nearly $2,000 in cash, according to the report.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call police at 751-7500 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
