BRIEF: Newton PD tobacco compliance checks result in four citations

The Newton Police Department, in conjunction with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division's Iowa Pledge program, recently completed tobacco compliance checks on 20 retail establishments.
As a result of the compliance checks, four citations for providing tobacco to a minor were issued. Those cited were Tracy Dodd, 45, at Pit Stop Liquors; Kimberly Nelson, 47, at Hy-Vee Gas; Jody Hansen, 39, at West End Sinclair and Zachary Nolin, 18, at Casey's West.
