SCHAUMBURG, Ill. --(Business Wire)--
Career
Education Corporation (CEC) (NASDAQ: CECO), a global provider of
postsecondary education programs and services, today announced that it
has assumed operation of ESC (News - Alert) Chambéry, a business school in the French
Alps, incorporating it into its Paris-based INSEEC

Now known as INSEEC Alpes Savoie, the school in the Savoy region of
France extends the network of INSEEC Group campuses with another elite
"grand école" school, which have selective admissions criteria in the
French higher education system. Located in Chambéry, France - east of
Lyon and south of Geneva, Switzerland -INSEEC Alpes Savoie complements
INSEEC's current grand école schools in Paris and Bordeaux.
As result of the new association, students attending INSEEC Alpes
Savoie will have access to courses offered by the INSEEC Group in Paris,
Bordeaux, Lyon, Monaco, London and Chicago. The business-focused
programs of INSEEC include master's degrees in business administration,
concentrations in marketing research, luxury marketing, communications,
advertising, tourism, and food and wine marketing. With its location
serving the tourism industry in the Alps, INSEEC Alpes Savoie boasts
strong programs in sports marketing and foreign languages.
"The INSEEC Alpes Savoie campus provides an excellent complement to the
INSEEC Group of schools, strengthening the network with a campus at
European geographic crossroads of France, Germany, Switzerland and
Italy," said Catherine Lespine, General Manager of Career Education's
Paris-based INSEEC Group of schools.
In May 2012, the INSEEC Group expanded its executive education curricula
with the acquisition of the corporate training firm Luxury Attitude,
which specializes in service and customer relations training for premium
and luxury companies. That complements those offered in the Luxury
Business Division and the specialized programs already developed by the
International University of Monaco (IUM), which was acquired by Career
Education in 2010.
Since 1975, the INSEEC Group has been developing innovative higher
education programs, from bachelor to doctoral degrees, in a wide range
of areas. Its commitment has been to design programs adapted to ease
access to the job market for its alumni.
