Eckoh Plc announced the signing of two new contracts and renewing the existing contracts with three existing customers. The developments are considered to be significant milestones for the company following the announcement of half-year results during November 2013. The newly signed agreements are expected to go-live before the end of Q1 2014.
One of the newly signed contracts is with a global telecom provider and Eckoh will extend its payment service suite to its client’s global customer base enabling payments in multiple currencies supporting various languages. The contract will ensure that the payments for the telecom company are processed in compliance with PCI (News - Alert) DSS standards. Eckoh’s international experience with leading companies helping them to rationalize costs on payments collection played a major role in Eckoh winning this coveted contract. The second of the newly signed contracts is with a renowned payments service provider and was secured through the tender process. As per the terms of this contract, Eckoh will provide contact center services in addition to deploying self-service applications within the client’s payment systems.
In a release, Nik Philpot, chief executive officer at Eckoh, said, “We are once again experiencing our traditional acceleration in sales activity in the second half of the financial year and we anticipate further new contract momentum before the end of the period. Having secured 100 percent of all contracts that have come up for renewal, we are continuing to demonstrate both the strength of our service offering and the significant progress made by the Group over the last 12 months. These latest renewals take the total number to 12 this year, more than 20 percent of Eckoh’s entire portfolio of customers. Our sales pipeline remains very strong and we would expect the growth in the business to continue, keeping us firmly in line with market expectations.”
The company also successfully renewed its contract with a leading player in the transportation sector to continue services until 2015, which will mark around 10 years of Eckoh’s association with this client. Eckoh also got a three year extension with a leading water utility company in the UK, which will also mark a decade of association between both the companies. Further, Utilita has also extended its contract with Eckoh for another five years marking a successful beginning for Eckoh.
Eckoh Plc is engaged in providing secure payment technology and multi-channel customer care solutions to support its clients in efficiently handling customer engagement across various communication channels.
