Web.com Names Jim Furyk as Golf Ambassador

Web.com (News - Alert) Group, Inc was named Jim Furyk as the organization’s authorized golf ambassador. Furyk is a PGA TOUR expert with 16 PGA TOUR successes, counting the U.S. Open Championship in 2003.
As an official golf ambassador, Furyk will promote Web.com and the Web.com Tour by producing increased awareness of the organization. As part of the contract, which is valid until the 2016 season, Furyk will wear the Web.com emblem on the left chest of his competition attire.
In a statement, David Brown (News - Alert), CEO and Chairman, Web.com said, "Having a partnership with Jim Furyk is the perfect complement to our new relationship with the PGA TOUR and umbrella sponsorship of the Web.com Tour. Jim's tremendous success embodies the hard work and determination to succeed that we recognize both on the golf course and in the small businesses that we serve."
In 1993, Furyk entered the Web.com Tour for the first time. Ever since, he has experienced triumphs on the PGA TOUR. Apart from the 2003 U.S. Open Championship, Furyk has won the 2010 FedExCup. According to Furyk, his practices on the Web.com Tour have been instrumental for his triumphs on the PGA TOUR.
Furyk will help Web.com in developing websites for his golf brand name and his philanthropic foundation, The Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation. Jim Furyk stays at Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with his wife, Tabitha, and two children.
Furyk said, "Web.com's mission is to help businesses with the online marketing tools they need to be successful, and it will be great to have their expertise in these areas that are so important to me. I'm excited to be part of the Web.com team and look forward to working together to help others learn about the Company while bringing more visibility to the Web.com Tour."
According to Brown, the organization appreciates Jim's aptitude and triumph on both the Web.com Tour and the PGA TOUR. The organization believes that Jim’s veracity and professionalism are in line with Web.com’s values. The organization is very happy to name Furyk as the official golf ambassador for the next four years.
