SLI Systems' New Product Delivers Suggestions Based on Shopper Behavior
March 03, 2014
SLI Systems, a provider of SaaS (News - Alert) solutions, has unveiled a Learning Recommendations product, an add-on to its Learning Search site search solution. The new release can read into the patterns of e-commerce website visitors and prepare a list of products and services they are most likely to purchase.
With the new product add-on to the Learning Search solution, SLI Systems equips e-commerce companies with the ability to deliver highly appealing product suggestions to online visitors based on shopper behavior.
By integrating the ‘Learning Search’ technology into their e-commerce websites, users can ensure that their customers easily find what they are looking for. The technology is designed to learn from past site search activity by tracking visitors’ aggregate search queries and preparing a list that customers usually look for.
Blair Cassidy, vice president of product management for SLI Systems said, “In general, recommendations tools are shown to generate an average lift in revenue between five and fifteen percent. Yet, we find that merchants more often than not have failed to add these capabilities to their online stores. By building on our popular set of SaaS e-commerce offerings and taking the hard work out of retailers’ hands, we hope to bring the benefit of robust recommendations to the many sites that haven't been able to take advantage of them to date.”
SLI Systems also explained that its Learning Recommendations’ logic is influenced by its learning search data, optimizing suggested products based on recommendation logic and data learned from customer behavior. It also lets users tweak their learning recommendations logic to cater to their specific needs and ensures e-commerce pages perform at their very best by showing recommendations in many different contexts, including web pages, mobile, in-store kiosks or order confirmation and marketing emails.
