Language Line Services Unveils "Your World, Your Language"

Language Line Services has introduced the “Your World, Your Language” World Partner network to all local companies nationwide. With this, the company seeks to help its customers connect to a growing number of limited English speaking customers across the globe.

As companies expand into different countries and continents, they often stumble upon customers who speak very little English. It becomes difficult for the companies to communicate with these customers about the products and services offered by the company. Sometimes, the company may even lose valuable business to competitors because of these communication gaps.

With the help of Your World, Your Language limited English speakers can access various important commercial, retail and entertainment businesses anytime and at no charge. Your World, Your Language offers a host of services to limited English speakers by a toll-free phone service and free interpreter.

The company has recently signed a three-year multi-million dollar contract with AT&T for global voice and data services. According to the contract, AT&T (News - Alert) will provide Language Line Services with AT&T Virtual Private Network service and serve as its primary voice services provider.

“Language access is a key component of any proactive effort to respond to and embrace the nearly 55 million people in the United States who speak a language other than English at home,” said Louis Provenzano, President and COO of Language Line Services. “Your World, Your Language brings an entirely new customer base to companies that want to reach this expanding market of individuals.”

Your World, Your Language is available to customers in Cantonese (Chinese), Japanese, Korean, Mandarin (Chinese), Polish, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. The company plans to introduce more services in the near future.

A growing number of customers all over the world now prefer to do business in their own language. In United States itself, there are more than 176 languages spoken, which means that companies need expert help to reach customers in any language.
