The old order of business analysis is about to give way to a new order, as collaborative analytics comes of age. Maybe it has not yet reached the mainstream, but there is no doubt that it has emerged. GoodData has set the ball rolling as it now enables companies to collaborate around the data that drives businesses through its powerful on-demand service, by announcing its Powered by GoodData program.

The announcement of this program signals the beginning of a new era in collaborative analytics. This is an innovative approach for SaaS (News - Alert) cloud and data providers to deliver pre-built dashboards and advanced analytics to their customers. Eight companies, who are already powered by GoodData will have their analytics products in the market by the end of 2010.

"GoodData was an easy choice to power our Community Health Analytics product," said Wendy Lea, CEO of Get Satisfaction (News - Alert), adding that GoodData made it so easy for customers to measure the value of their Get Satisfaction communities, with metrics right at their fingertips.

Powered by GoodData is a comprehensive program designed so that SaaS providers world over would be able to use it with the greatest of ease. The Cloud BI Platform provides dashboards pre- populated with data. Customers get BI without the BS, and SaaS providers get to offer free and paid analytics products to their customers. The massive scalability of cloud computing is combined with the reach of Web 2.0 to deliver a new generation of collaborative analytics.

"At Brightidea, we are constantly collecting data on the vital signs of our customers innovation processes," said Matt Greeley, founder and CEO of Brightidea, adding that GoodData unlocked the value of that information with live dashboards, providing a real-time view of the innovation pipeline. Brightidea is one of the companies that is powered by GoodData.

Zendesk, which helps desk managers with analytics to better measure trends in ticket volume, backlog, and support performance, was also lauded by Mikkel Svane, founder and CEO of Zendesk.

GoodData is a new way of interacting with business data, be it Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance or HR data, GoodData shows it all on one page and lets users dive into anything they want. All in an intuitive and delightful way.

Other companies and cloud innovators also used GoodData to deliver Bi-based insights to measure and track efficiency, risk, revenue, and other activities special to their respective companies. In fact, according to Roman Stanek, CEO and founder of GoodData, customers now expect analytics with their apps., which service providers can deliver with ease. GoodData's Cloud platform could power the best dashboards and analytics, advanced reporting and data warehousing at a fraction of the cost and complexity of other approaches, for anyone that hosted customer data.

GoodData is trusted by companies like Enterasys Networks, TrendMicro, and Software AG, and embedded into offerings from cloud innovators like Zendesk, Aurix (News - Alert) and Brightidea.

In a related news release, GoodData announced that Loopt, a location-based social application, is using GoodData to deliver customer insights on Loopt (News - Alert) mobile rewards campaigns. Loopt’s brand and retail partners can now track the customer loyalty and engagement gained from Loopt with pre-built reports and dashboards tracking rewards and redemption.
