Comprehensive Integration Framework Launched by Moxie Software

Integration with, Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint and Outlook, and Skype has been announced by the Social Workspace, Moxie Software Inc. A comprehensive integration framework was announced by Moxie Software in November 2010. Apart from social integration with third-party applications, this framework allows access to information from other enterprise systems. The integration framework has been the core of Spaces by Moxie architecture.

Single or bi-directional synchronization through secure APIs is provided by Moxie Software's integration framework. Users from Moxie Software's Employee Spaces are connected to enterprise applications and vice versa with pre-built adaptors. Some of these enterprise applications include CRM, ERP, Content Management, HR and Microsoft suite.

In a release, R "Ray" Wang who is the Principal Analyst and CEO of Constellation Research, Inc. said, "The trend of consumerization of IT continues to add pressure to enterprise applications as users gravitate towards simple, scalable, and sexy attributes as those found in consumer-grade products. Social Business applications need to co-exist with enterprise applications, enabling users seamless transition between all the applications used."

Single sign-on through Active Directory integration is included in Moxie Software's Employee Spaces integration with enterprise applications. Other key integrations included are with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, (News - Alert), Skype and Atlassian Confluence.

David Boyer who is the senior vice president of products at Moxie Software said, "Moxie Software's design philosophy has always been to Go Where The People Are. For social enterprise software to be adopted, it needs to be integrated into the everyday business applications that people use. Moxie Employee Spaces provides enterprises with a platform that not only connects people to one another but also allows people to collaborate around specific business processes."

According to Boyer, Moxie's Integration Framework has made all this possible. Existing applications can be quickly and securely integrated with Moxie's Integration Framework.

Companies are able to effectively communicate and collaborate with Spaces by Moxie Applications. The barriers between employees, partners and customers have been broken. Employee Spaces, Customer Spaces and Knowledge Space are some of the Spaces by Moxie applications.
