SMTP Appoints Jorge Casas as Director of Business Development and Customer Service

To boost its efforts of expanding its operations across Western Europe, cloud-based messaging and email delivery service provider SMTP, Inc. appointed Jorge Casas as its director of Business Development and Customer Service. Casas was working with Prestolite Electric LTD as Multilingual Customer Service and Export Supervisor for the regions of France, Southern Europe and Maghreb.

Officials from SMTP said that appointment of Casas will help the company advance its email marketing programs. SMTP sees huge potential in the European market which is estimated to be worth approximately $9 billion.  The company is operating in 150 countries and is serving a client base of over 10,000 customers.

“Our strategy reflects the direction and globalization of the marketplace, and reinforces our position as a leading Micro Multinational enterprise,” said Semyon Dukach, CEO of SMTP, in a recent press release. “We operate today in a global business community, where technology and communications empowers organizations like SMTP to thrive by virtually transcending national borders.”

“The largest component to Internet email marketing investment is in effective delivery, which is the core element of our service offering,” added Dukach. “Our 24/7, global support team is available to customers worldwide to help them navigate the myriad intricacies of high-volume and transactional email delivery.”

Recently, SMTP announced that Mark S. Dailey will be joining its board of directors. Dailey has proven his expertise in driving international growth-stage information technology enterprises. In 2010 while serving as a member of the Berliner Communications’ (News - Alert) Board of Directors, Dailey successfully carried out a merger with UniTek USA.

Additionally, Dailey has also served across a number of senior level positions with Bloomberg (News - Alert) Financial Markets, expert in delivery of international real-time financial data, from 1986 to 1999.
