Virtual Holds Technology Hosts Government, Business Leaders at its New HQ in Fairlawn, OH

Virtual Hold Technology (News - Alert) (VHT) recently hosted a reception and tour for government and business leaders at its new, 24,000-sq-ft headquarters at 3875 Embassy Parkway in Fairlawn, OH. Visitors included JobsOhio president Mark Kvamme, who heads Ohio's business development efforts, and other regional business and education leaders.

Wes Hayden (News - Alert), CEO at Wes Hayden, congratulated Kvamme on Ohio's job growth, which has exceeded that of most other states. He thanked Ohio Governor John Kasich and Kvamme for supporting Ohio's growing information technology and software development industry, noting that it is targeted as a key growth sector by JobsOhio.

According to Hayden, Ohio is a great place to locate a technology business; all of Ohio benefits from information technology advances because they provide other industries with competitive advantages that keep the U.S. at the vanguard of the world economy.

In addition, Hayden commended the Ohio Public Employees' Retirement System (OPERS), the State Teachers Retirement System (STERS) and the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS) for their commitment to information technology to cost-effectively improve service to Ohio taxpayers.

Added Hayden: "People today live ‘in the moment,’ and they communicate while they are on-the-go or multi-tasking. There is a new bar for customer satisfaction. Important state departments and Ohio-based businesses such as Fifth-Third Bank, Nationwide Insurance and many others, have been leaders in improving the experiences of those they serve."

Recently, VHT received a Call Center Excellence Award in the category of Best Technology Solutions (News - Alert) Provider from the International Quality and Productivity Center. The award can be seen as underlining the importance of hosted outbound call centers in general.

The Call Center Excellence Awards honor what its officials describe as "the most innovative call center solutions and individuals over the past year,” the source said. “Given in eight categories, the awards are dedicated to recognizing superior thinking, creativity and execution across the full spectrum of call center functions."
