Sonoma Partners Unveils Universal Search for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM users often to have to search one record type at a time. For example, if they are searching for "Robert," they’ll have to search within Accounts first. Then, they need to go to Contacts, and continue their search again. Then, they should go to Leads, search again.

This method can be highly time-consuming and labor intensive.

To help them with this problem, Sonoma Partners (News - Alert), a Microsoft Dynamics CRM consultancy has released Universal Search. This product is a free add-on tool for Dynamics CRM and provides advanced search features that help users in increasing productivity.

This search app allows users to search across various record types with one simple search. In the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application ribbon, it also allows users to rapidly access Universal Search anytime.

In search results, system admins can configure which records types to include as it supports both system and custom entities.

Universal Search from Sonoma Partners can be obtained in Microsoft Dynamics 2011 on-premises and online installations, the company has stated.

“We developed Universal Search to create a convenient way for Microsoft Dynamics CRM users to greatly streamline the experience of searching for records, even if they don’t know what type of record it is,” said Mike Snyder (News - Alert), principal of Sonoma Partners. “With this free add-on, we hope to enable Dynamics CRM users to utilize their on-premise or online deployment to the fullest.”

In 2010, the company received a good response from the customers for its product, named 'Vibe.' The company works with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and was also named the Global Microsoft CRM Partner of the Year twice. Established in the year 2001, the company has published numerous books about Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Press.
