Redknee will provide its cloud-based converged billing and customer relations solution to Step Up Mobile as a completely managed Software-as-a-Service solution.
Redknee’s cloud-based solution works on a Microsoft (News - Alert) platform, which comprises of Microsoft Dynamic CRM, SQL Server and Windows Server. Redknee uses this to give the communications market a pre-integrated billing and customer care platform crucial for effective traffic monitoring.
The cloud-based converged billing and customer care solution addresses real-time unified billing, rating and charging of operator’s data, messaging and voice services. Throwing in the advanced CRM capabilities that enable the provision of a retail channel and sales enablement tools via futuristic dealer portal self-care solutions makes Redknee’s product one in a million.
Step Up Mobile intends to use Redknee’s fully-managed solution, together with constantly available customer support, to augment its sales and marketing escapades hence the acquisition of new subscribers. The fact that Redknee will also be hosting and managing the complete infrastructure stack supporting the billing and customer care solution will give Start Up Mobile the leeway to make more revenue by cutting down on expenditure.
According to Lucas Skoczkowski (News - Alert), Redknee’s CEO, the agreement will help increase the companies hold in the American market by expanding on the list of customers turning to Redknee for cloud-based converged billing solutions. He said, “This win also reinforces Redknee's leadership in delivering innovative solutions that empower service providers with the greatest flexibility and agility to support their growth strategies, increase revenues and improve the customer experience."
With more and more service providers opting for cloud solutions as a way to find new revenue streams and achieve faster time to market, Start Up Mobile is just but a tip of the iceberg. Commenting on Redknee’s solution, Bob De Haven, general manager, worldwide Communications and Media, Microsoft Corp. said, “Redknee's solution built on the Microsoft platform delivers greater business agility to service providers, while significantly reducing capital expenditure so that they can focus on their core business."
