AltiGen and Insource Technology Bring Altigen's MaxACD Contact Center to Microsoft Lync

Unified communications (UC) solutions provider AltiGen (News - Alert) Communications, Inc. has struck an agreement with Insource Technology Corporation that will see the two companies providing AltiGen's MaxACD Contact Center for Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync. Insource Technology provides a range of IT services including unified communications, enterprise wireless networks, enterprise application solutions and managed IT services. As a Microsoft Gold UC Partner, Houston-based Insource has implemented Microsoft Lync at more than 40 companies to date.


Microsoft Lync (formerly Microsoft Office Communicator) is an enterprise instant messaging client used with Microsoft Lync Server or Lync Online available with Microsoft Office 365 and Live@Edu.

"Microsoft Lync is the best communications and collaboration system on the market today," said Chris Hayes, Insource director of Unified Communications (News - Alert), in a statement announcing the partnership with AltiGen. "To provide a comprehensive solution for our customers, we chose to add contact center capability to our Microsoft Lync offerings. We selected AltiGen's MaxACD solution over three other Microsoft Qualified products based on MaxACD's maturity, ease of use and attractiveness of the license structure and pricing to customers. We were also thoroughly impressed with its functionality,” he added.

AltiGen's MaxACD Contact Center for Lync was designed to be a simple to deploy, simple to use, and simple to manage call center for Lync. Features such as skills-based routing, multi-level auto attendant, a flexible and adaptable IVR with CRM integration capabilities, call recording and monitoring, and reporting are all integrated with Microsoft Lync to provide a communications solution either on premise or delivered through the cloud.
