Zilicus Solutions Introduces ZilicusPM 5.1

Project managers now have the option to use the latest ZilicusPM 5.1 to plan, track and manage project schedules and resources more effectively.

Zilicus Solutions recently released its latest version to help companies deliver projects on time with proper planning and resources. To run the project smoothly, ZilicusPM now includes resource load charts that offer a real time view of resource loads across all projects.

Projects managers can now rely on ZilicusPM5.1 to assess whether a team member can be assigned a given task based on their availability across all projects. The Project planner feature helps identify the real time availability of a given resource and his/her load across all projects. It also shows how a given resource would be loaded if a given task is assigned to it (what-if analysis).

ZilicusPM 5.1 also incorporates with Google (News - Alert) Docs (Google Drive), where in the users are allowed to browse through folders in their Google Drive. After the Google Document is selected, users can link it to a given project.

The company has also made sure that the latest version supports multiple geographical territories (45+ countries) date, time formats and time zones. In fact, the new ZilicusPM 5.1 helps administrators set preferences and configure official working days of a week for their organization.

What’s more, the new ZilicusPM 5.1 comes with an advanced timesheet feature that enables the team members to log time against tasks, issues, risk or miscellaneous/ad hoc items for a given project. Users can remain assured that every project activity they have worked on is tracked through the timesheet tracker in ZilicusPM.

The company has also announced its intention to release ZilicusPM 6.0 early next year. This new version is said to be filled with new functionalities requested by its customers, as well as planned features as per the product roadmap.
